Job Summary Responsible for analyzing competitor pricing matched with market expectations to determine the ideal target price for products of the business.

Job Duties

Collect and analyze data relating to current and predicted market conditions, cost overhead or competition pricing in order to recommend pricing strategies or standardize pricing guidelines

Balance customer needs or values with expected product demand to maximize revenue, market share or profit margin

Model pricing adjustments to predict the impact of pricing changes on organizational performance

May provide customized pricing to the sales team

Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately

Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)

Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures

Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

Perform work under minimal supervision

Pricing Analyst experience

Analyze large datasets

Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff

Possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter

Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group

Typically require a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience

Competencies/ Skills

Intermediate verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Detail oriented

Ability to meet deadlines
