HR Representative

A leading medical institution is looking for an HR Representative with human resources experience in a complex higher education or hospital HR environment to handle a gamut of HR responsibilities. HR Representative Qualifications: 1-3 years of demonstrated customer service experience working in an internal HR, WFA, or benefits environment as a subject matter expert in one functional area. University experience, or at minimum experience in a complex higher education or hospital HR environment. Working knowledge in PeopleSoft, Service Now, Visual Vault, and HR Web applications. Exceptional writing skills to clearly, concisely, and logically articulate ideas, using appropriate editorial style and grammatically correct language; ability to translate technical information and concepts into easily understandable language for a diverse audience. Interpersonal skills to interact effectively and diplomatically with faculty, staff, administrators and co-workers and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members and managers. Ability to provide world class customer service. Exception time management skills in setting priorities which accurately reflects relative importance of job responsibilities. Impeccable attention to detail and thoroughness in work product. Ability to maintain composure and productivity despite pressing deadlines, frequent interruptions, distractions and competing priorities. Ability and judgment to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Ability to keep abreast of constantly changing university systems, regulations, policies and procedures. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25lb. Knowledge of university personnel and payroll policies and procedures. Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
