Join a Growing, Entrepreneurial Sales Team GEN Aspire, LLC, operating as Batteries Plus Bulbs, is expanding - and we're looking for driven Outside Commercial Sales Representatives to help grow our commercial business. What You’ll Do As an Outside Commercial Sales Representative, you’ll manage and grow a portfolio of commercial accounts while supporting our stores and customers. Your work will include:
Commercial Sales & Growth
Expand sales within an assigned territory and grow new customer accounts
Manage, retain, and deepen commercial customer relationships
Build and execute customer-specific action plans
Generate and qualify new leads through scheduled appointments and cold outreach
Assign prospects to the appropriate commercial portfolio
Use sales and marketing tools to support customer and prospect engagement
Collect and verify customer email addresses to support marketing campaigns
Reporting & Analysis
Review and act on commercial sales and activity reports
Prepare annual competitor comparison analyses
Customer Service & Support
Partner with store teams to ensure excellent service, order management, and delivery coordination
Provide commercial training to store staff when needed
Share customer and prospect insights with stores Prepare, deliver, and follow up on product and service proposals
Execute communication plans including calls, follow-ups, emails, and thank-you messages
Promote B2B ordering where appropriate
Additional Responsibilities
Reactivate inactive or lost customers
Support accounts receivable with collection activities
Maintain strong knowledge of competitors and market conditions
Prepare special pricing and bid quotes as requested
