
Account Manager (Client Services)

PRI, a division of Haymarket Media, Inc., is hiring a talented Account Manager to join our growing team. We have offices based in NYC and Paramus, NJ, and offer a flexible hybrid work schedule.
Job Overview: The Account Manager supports the management of the day-to-day activity of the account and the growth of business. As an Account Manager, you must be a proactive person who can multi-task, foster a positive team atmosphere, and be a leader.
Specific Responsibilities:
Builds and maintains positive client relationships with a focus on achieving client tactical execution objectives
Ensures client expectations are met on all levels of program activity
Develops and maintains contact with clients to ensure that the agency is aware of business opportunities and/or significant changes in client’s business structure; suggests additional programs and develops presentations for existing clients and focuses on organic growth of the business
Maintains a strong knowledge of client organizations, products, disease states; begins to make recommendations based on marketing goals and customer insights
Oversees project management of all account projects with a high-level working knowledge of all projects to assist in issue escalation/resolution
Possesses a working knowledge of core agency capabilities and tactics
Create POVs, contact reports, and creative/project brief documents; contributes to internal and external meetings with insights and feedback
Develops and delivers client-ready presentations in conjunction of team lead
Mentors junior level staff in daily activities; builds team skill set and expertise
Demonstrates consistency in follow - through on all product tactical materials and plans, both internally and with the client, including the daily tracking of all jobs to coordinate efficient flow of jobs throughout the agency
Reviews and evaluates all work prior to sending to client
Completes all associated financial management tasks including, budget tracking, and reconciliation development
Takes an active role in leadership with all members of the team to ensure the accurate information exchange and smooth flow of product work
Assumes other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the position and can add value
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field
Minimum three (3) - five (5) years of pharmaceutical account management at an agency
Management experience strongly preferred
Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to ever-changing scenarios
Experience working with pharmaceutical clients required
Demonstrates knowledge and ensures adherence to internal processes, PhRMA, ACCME, OIG, and HCC guidelines
Digital experience preferred
Up to 25% travel required, primarily domestic
