Position Summary Huisong Inc. is seeking a motivated and relationship‑driven B2B Sales Manager – Nutraceutical Ingredients to support business growth across North and South America.
This role is ideal for a professional who has experience in the nutraceutical, herbal, or food ingredients industry and enjoys working in a consultative B2B sales environment.
The Sales Manager will develop strong customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the long‑term growth of the company.
This position requires onsite work at our Santa Ana, California office. Remote work is not available.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within nutraceutical and natural ingredient markets.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing business.
Build long‑term partnerships with customers through consultative selling.
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
Manage and grow assigned customer accounts.
Present ingredient solutions and technical product information to customers.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
Represent Huisong professionally in customer meetings and industry events.
Collaborate with internal teams including operations, quality, regulatory, and marketing.
Strategic Responsibilities
Work closely with the VP of Sales to execute regional growth strategies.
Support business planning and market expansion initiatives.
Provide insights on market trends and customer needs.
Help improve sales processes and customer engagement strategies.
Qualifications Required
Minimum 2 years of experience working in the nutraceutical, herbal, food ingredient, or natural finished product industries.
Experience working with B2B customers.
Strong communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing business.
Passion for the nutraceutical, herbal, botanical extract, or Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) industry.
Preferred
Experience selling nutraceutical or natural ingredients.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Nutrition, Biology, Chemistry, Plant Science, or a related field.
Ideal Candidate Background The ideal candidate will have experience selling ingredients or working with customers in industries such as:
Dietary supplement brands.
Contract manufacturers (CMOs/CDMOs).
Nutraceutical ingredient suppliers.
Functional beverage companies.
Food ingredient manufacturers.
Botanical extract or herbal ingredient companies.
Candidates who have worked with botanical extracts, herbal ingredients, plant‑based actives, or nutraceutical formulations will be especially successful in this role.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 depending on experience.
