Role Description This is a full‑time, hybrid role for an Interior Designer based in Passaic, NJ, with flexibility for occasional remote work. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating design concepts, developing space plans, selecting materials, and producing detailed construction drawings. Key tasks include collaborating with clients and project teams, overseeing project progress, and ensuring that designs adhere to functional requirements, budgets, and timelines. Candidates will also assist in sourcing and specifying furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) to align with overall project aesthetics.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Space Planning, ensuring functional and aesthetic layouts for residential and commercial projects
Strong understanding of Architecture fundamentals, including structural and spatial elements
Experience in creating Construction Drawings with comprehensive attention to technical and design details
Expertise in Interior Design and knowledge of design principles, themes, and trends
Knowledge and hands‑on experience in specifying FF&E, including selecting furniture, fabrics, and materials
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp is highly desirable
Strong project management and client communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
