
Senior Business Development Executive - SAP Sales

Resolve Tech Solutions (RTS) is expanding its SAP Commercial and Regulated Industries practice to support growing demand for SAP modernization, AI-enabled enterprise applications, and managed SAP services. The Senior BD Executive will lead business development efforts across regulated industry sectors including Energy, Utilities, Aerospace & Defense, Government Contractors, and other security-sensitive enterprise environments.
This role will focus on identifying and closing SAP transformation opportunities while building strategic relationships with SAP field teams, enterprise executives, and industry partners. The position will play a key role in driving RTS’s SAP growth strategy through a combination of S/4HANA modernization, AI innovation, and long-term managed services. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in SAP enterprise sales, deep familiarity with regulated industry environments, and an established network across the SAP ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities Revenue Generation
Develop and close SAP services opportunities within regulated industry sectors including Energy, Utilities, Aerospace & Defense, and Government Contractors
Sell across the RTS SAP services portfolio including S/4HANA transformation programs, SAP Application Managed Services (AMS), SAP staffing, and SAP AI/BTP solutions
Identify opportunities for SAP ECC modernization and S/4HANA transformation initiatives
Drive multi-year services engagements anchored by AMS, modernization programs, and AI innovation initiatives
Account Development
Build executive-level relationships within target regulated industry organizations
Identify and develop whitespace opportunities within existing SAP installed base companies
Position RTS as a strategic partner for SAP transformation, modernization, and innovation initiatives
Drive land-and-expand strategies through staffing, AMS, transformation services, and AI-led innovation
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified SAP opportunities across regulated industry sectors
Develop new opportunities through direct prospecting, partner collaboration, and SAP field engagement
Identify ECC customers preparing for S/4 modernization and cloud adoption initiatives
Engage industry advisors and partners to support strategic deal development
Develop strong relationships with SAP Account Executives, Customer Success teams, and industry leaders within SAP
Work closely with RTS leadership, delivery teams, and technical architects to shape competitive solutions
Collaborate with SAP ecosystem partners and advisors to expand reach within regulated industry accounts
Support joint go-to-market activities with SAP and other strategic partners
Opportunity Leadership
Lead deal qualification, opportunity shaping, and executive-level sales engagement
Coordinate internal presales resources to develop compelling client proposals and solutions
Structure commercial models that align modernization initiatives with long-term managed services relationships
Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and opportunity tracking within Salesforce
Required Experience
10–15+ years of enterprise sales experience within the SAP ecosystem
Proven success selling SAP transformation programs, application managed services, or enterprise IT services
Strong familiarity with regulated industry environments such as Energy, Utilities, Aerospace & Defense, or Government Contractors
Experience collaborating with SAP field sales organizations and partner ecosystems
Demonstrated ability to develop executive-level relationships and close complex enterprise deals
Experience managing opportunities through full enterprise sales cycles
Preferred Background
Former SAP Account Executive, Client Partner, or Industry Sales Leader
Experience working within SAP partners such as Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, NTT Data, IBM, or similar firms
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA modernization, SAP cloud transformation, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions
Existing relationships with SAP field leadership and regulated industry enterprise accounts
Experience selling multi-year managed services engagements
