Position Summary The

Lead Glazier

is responsible for supervising and performing the installation of glass and aluminum systems on commercial construction projects. This role combines expert‑level glazing skills with team leadership to ensure that all installations meet AJ Glass’s standards for quality, precision, and safety. Lead Glazier oversees crew members and provides hands‑on support throughout every phase of installation.

What You’ll Do

Supervise and lead the glazing crew on commercial job sites.

Review and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Verify field dimensions and confirm that materials align with project requirements.

Plan and organize daily work; assign tasks to crew members accordingly.

Ensure all necessary tools, equipment, and materials are available and in proper working conditions.

Troubleshoot and resolve on‑site issues promptly to maintain progress and quality.

Conduct daily quality checks to ensure installations meet AJ Glass standards.

Train and mentor Glaziers and Assistant Glaziers to build skill and consistency.

Lead by example through hands‑on participation in glass installations, including loading and unloading materials.

Maintain project schedules and uphold all safety procedures; wear required PPE at all times.

Complete and submit all required daily reports accurately and on time in Procore.

What We’re Looking For

HS Diploma or GED

5+ years of commercial glazing experience

Valid Driver’s License

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and field measurements

Team‑oriented attitude and commitment to safety.

Proficiency using hand and power tools, saws, polishers, lifts, and forklifts

Strong sense of urgency and problem‑solving skills.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements

Ability to walk, stand, or climb ladders (heights over 8 feet) for extended periods during site visits.

Lift and move glass, tools, and equipment regularly.

Comfortable navigating active construction sites, sometimes in varying weather conditions.

This is a full‑time position based in Marietta, GA, starting daily at 5:00 AM.
