We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Strategic Sales & Account Manager. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of the corn-to-ethanol dry grind process and be aware of the growing demand for biochemical feedstocks globally.
This role is
Remote
with a preference for candidates in Chicago or nearby areas within the Midwest to facilitate travel across the Corn Belt region.
Job Title:
Strategic Account Manager
Location:
Remote (Chicago, IL preferred)
Compensation:
$100K Base + 1% Commission on Sales
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans within the
biofuel, biochemical, and agricultural processing industries
Build and maintain relationships with
ethanol plants, plant operators, and industry partners
Serve as the
primary point of contact
for customers throughout the sales process
Identify opportunities for
technology upgrades, plant optimization, and new processing solutions
Collaborate with internal engineering and technical teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs
Track industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity
Represent the company at
industry conferences, trade shows, and association meetings
Prepare proposals, sales presentations, and contracts to support deal closure
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
5+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience
Experience within
biofuels, ethanol production, biochemical processing, agricultural processing, or related industries
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to explain
technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
