Adecco is hiring: Visual Merchandiser in Chicago

Adecco Creative & Marketing is partnering with a global luxury beauty brand to hire a Visual Merchandising Expert (Contractor) to execute high-impact in-store campaigns. This onsite role focuses on translating brand storytelling into immersive retail experiences through precise visual execution, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute visual merchandising campaigns, including fixtures, displays, and in-store installations
• Manage vendors and timelines to ensure brand standards are met
• Create engaging, sensory retail environments through lighting, materials, and layout
• Collaborate with internal teams and provide real-time updates and feedback
• Support brand activations, events, and special installations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years in visual merchandising or retail design (luxury/beauty preferred)
• Strong design eye and proven experience executing impactful displays
• Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and visual merchandising tools (preferred)
• Experience with global brands, store strategy, and customer journey is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand, move, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform hands-on installation work
