Carolina's Collision Center of Greensboro is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Body Shop Painter/Prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint to vehicles, matching colors accurately, and ensuring high-quality paint finishes. The Automotive Body Shop Painter/Prepper plays a crucial role in the overall aesthetic appeal and quality of our finished vehicles. Automotive Body Shop Painter Compensation and Benefits: Competitive pay Health insurance PTO 401(k) Automotive Body Shop Painter Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces of vehicles by sanding, masking, and cleaning to ensure proper adhesion of paint Mix and match paint colors to vehicle specifications, ensuring accurate color reproduction Use color charts and paint matching tools to achieve precise color matching Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns and other painting equipment Clean and maintain painting equipment, including spray guns, booths, and mixing equipment Stay updated on industry trends, new paint technologies, and advancements in painting techniques Other duties assigned Automotive Body Shop Painter Requirements: Experience as an Auto Body Shop Painter with a track record of delivering high-quality paint finishes preferred Proficient in using painting equipment, including spray guns, paint booths, and mixing tools Strong color matching skills with the ability to reproduce accurate paint colors Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and discuss paint requirements with colleagues and customers Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks Must pass pre-employment background screenings WE ARE CAPITAL!
