Description
Location: "The Recovery Connection" Marlborough, MA - Peer Recovery Program
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm and may require some evening (4:00pm-8:00pm) and weekend (Saturday 8:30am-5:00pm) shifts when needed
Pay rate: $18.00-$19.00/hour

The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for
- Educating the public about addiction and the multiple pathways to Recovery, recruiting participants, and networking with community-based organizations in collaboration with peer volunteers.
- Assisting Young Adults on their pathway to Recovery/or help maintain a strong Recovery.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- One year of experience in a substance abuse program preferred
- Be familiar with local recovery community.
- CARC certification preferred
- Experience providing harm minimization advice and information that reduces the potential negative impact on individuals and communities
- Experience with the provision of support that is structured, focused and time-limited to the point of entry with clients waiting to access appropriate treatment /support services generated from contacts with the street population
- Must have valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
