We’re looking for an Art Director with 3–5 years of experience who combines strong design craft with strategic thinking. In this role, you’ll partner closely with copywriters, strategists, and account teams to develop and execute creative ideas across print, digital, social, broadcast, and experiential channels.
You should be comfortable presenting work to clients, articulating the thinking behind your ideas, and collaborating across disciplines to bring campaigns to life from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute creative concepts across print, digital, social, OOH, broadcast, and web
Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, designers, and account teams to create integrated campaigns
Participate in brainstorms and contribute original creative concepts while building on ideas from other team members.
Design layouts, brand assets, campaign visuals, and basic digital wireframes
Help oversee production including photo shoots, video, audio recordings, and press proofing
Ability to prepare production-ready files and collaborate with production teams to ensure accurate execution of creative work.
Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Present creative work internally and with clients
Stay current on industry trends, emerging platforms, social behaviors, and creative technology to inspire new ideas.
Qualifications
3–5 years of art direction or design experience, ideally within an advertising or design agency
A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and work across Print, Digital, Social, OOH, and Broadcast
Experience developing creative ideas across multiple mediums, including campaign concepts, brand identity, and digital marketing assets
Confidence presenting creative ideas to clients and internal teams
Strong collaboration and time-management skills
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Familiarity with PowerPoint, Keynote, and Word
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and web design principles
Experience with motion design/animation tools and AI image or video generation platforms (e.g., After Effects, Runway, Firefly, etc.)

Given the nature of this role our preference is for someone to ultimately relocate and/or live in the Nashville community within the first 90 days.
