Amazon is hiring: Senior Manager, Film Marketing Strategy in Culver City

Amazon MGM Studios is dedicated to creating engaging and original films and television series for an extensive global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, available in over 240 countries and territories. Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for both theatrical release and Prime Video exclusives.

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned professional to lead global integrated film marketing campaigns. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping marketing strategies for individual titles, working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to bring creative visions to life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the strategic vision for specific movie titles, developing comprehensive 360-degree marketing campaigns that encompass goal creation, audience definition, positioning, campaign roadmaps, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborating with diverse teams including creative advertising, social media, partnerships, and Amazon's owned channels.
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with talent, producers, directors, external studios, and other key stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact for campaign developments.
  • Working closely with international marketing teams and local stakeholders to ensure cohesive global campaign execution.
  • Generating innovative ideas, securing buy-in, and implementing solutions effectively at scale.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners to prioritize initiatives and achieve clear objectives.
  • Creating compelling presentations for both internal and external audiences.

In this role, you will experience a fast-paced environment with multiple film launches, substantial collaborative efforts, and the need to effectively communicate campaign updates to filmmakers. You will be expected to present at key milestones and foster ongoing relationships with filmmakers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 6 years of professional marketing experience.
  • 7+ years in acquisition marketing or channel program management.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience leveraging data and metrics for performance improvements.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Tableau for data manipulation and visualization.
  • Experience managing campaigns across various time zones and languages.
  • Background in entertainment marketing, preferably in film.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience leading large cross-functional teams and managing agency partnerships.
  • Expertise in designing and executing joint marketing plans with global partners.

The salary range for this position is between $118,200.00 and $160,000.00 annually. Your compensation package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, and location.
