Position Summary
The Media/Break Day person would be responsible for assisting with media needs for the program team and working during break days to supervise staff on camp. They will be assigned to update the camp website's parent page, including daily pictures and videos.
Essential Functions
Assist with and be involved with the supervision of campers
Assist with and be involved with the supervision of campers at chapels
Assist with and be involved with the supervision of campers during campfires
When time permits, away from main responsibilities, be involved with cabin buddy assignment to assist with camper activities
Maintain the well-being of camp's property (albeit any cameras, computers/laptops, etc.)
Assist with miscellaneous task(s) from program team
Taking pictures/videos (may include recap video for each week)
Working on break days to supervise all remaining staff on camp
Ensure staff follow camp's policy accordingly on break days (may include checking buildings/camp property)
May be asked to create small programs on the weekend (i.e movie night, game night, activities) for the staff that stay at camp.
PAY RATE: $365.00/wk.
Working Conditions
Should be proficient in audio visual equipment, camera/video usage, editing, and computer skills. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be proficient in camera/video/editing skills
Ability to accept supervision and guidance
Comfortable in supervising staff on break days
Good character, integrity, adaptability, enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience and self-control.
Must submit health history record prior to first day of work.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Ability to communicate with staff as well as supervise them
Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards
Ability to take initiative with any media related content
Confidence in curating content that promotes camp, its staff and campers
Qualifications Experience
Must be proficient in camera/video/editing skills (required) Must be at least 21 years of age. (required)
