Position Responsibilities

Deltek's Sales Excellence organization is seeking a Sales Technology & Enablement Strategist to design, optimize, and champion a best-in-class sales technology ecosystem that enables our sellers to execute with excellence and deliver an exceptional buying experience.
This individual will serve as a subject matter expert across Deltek's sales technology stack, ensuring our sellers fully leverage the tools available to them to drive pipeline generation, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
This role sits at the intersection of Sales Enablement, Revenue Operations, and Sales Technology, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate will not only help shape the vision and roadmap for our sales technology stack but will also design and deliver high-impact training programs that empower sellers to maximize the value of our platforms.
This position partners closely with Sales Leadership, Global Enablement, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Product Marketing, and IT to ensure that our tools, workflows, and enablement programs work together to support a modern, data-driven go-to-market strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Technology Strategy

  • Define and evolve the vision, roadmap, and optimization strategy for Deltek's sales technology ecosystem.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging sales technologies, AI capabilities, and workflow automation opportunities that enhance seller productivity and customer engagement.
  • Ensure the sales technology stack aligns with Deltek's broader go-to-market strategy and sales process.
Sales Tool Subject Matter Expertise
Serve as a trusted internal expert and advisor across Deltek's sales technology stack, including:
  • Salesforce
  • Salesloft
  • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Allego
  • ZoomInfo
  • Eloqua
  • Owler
  • Terminus
  • SAP
  • SAP Customer Interaction Center (CIC)
Provide guidance on best practices, advanced platform capabilities, workflow integration, and productivity optimization.
Sales Tool Enablement & Training
  • Design and deliver engaging, scalable training programs that enable sellers to fully leverage the sales technology ecosystem.
  • Build enablement content including:
    • live training sessions
    • on-demand learning modules
    • tool playbooks and workflows
    • quick reference guides
    • enablement videos and tutorials
  • Partner with Global Enablement to integrate tool training into:
    • new hire onboarding
    • sales readiness programs
    • ongoing sales skill development initiatives
User Experience (UX) & Workflow Design

Conduct user experience (UX) analysis to evaluate how sellers interact with tools across the sales workflow.
  • Identify friction points and opportunities to improve seller productivity through better system design and workflow integration.
  • Design simplified, intuitive workflows that enable sellers to execute faster and more efficiently across the sales cycle.

Adoption, Analytics & Optimization
  • Develop programs to drive tool adoption, engagement, and advanced usage across the sales organization.
  • Analyze platform usage data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve effectiveness.
  • Build reporting and dashboards that connect tool adoption to pipeline generation and revenue outcomes.
Vendor & Platform Management
  • Manage vendor relationships across the sales technology ecosystem.
  • Lead tool evaluations, pilot programs, and platform implementations.
  • Ensure platforms are properly configured and optimized to support Deltek's evolving GTM strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Revenue Operations, Marketing, Product Marketing, IT, and Sales Leadership to ensure seamless integration across platforms.
  • Represent the Sales organization in broader technology initiatives, governance forums, and transformation programs.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Technology roles
  • Experience working within a B2B technology or SaaS organization
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing sales technology platforms
Sales Technology Expertise
Strong understanding of sales engagement workflows, CRM processes, and marketing-to-sales technology integration.
Enablement & Training Expertise
  • Experience designing and delivering training programs for sales tools and platforms
  • Ability to translate complex technology into practical, easy-to-follow workflows for sellers
  • Comfortable presenting to large sales audiences and leadership teams

UX & Workflow Optimization
  • Experience performing user experience (UX) analysis and improving system usability
  • Ability to design efficient workflows and seller journeys across multiple platforms
  • Experience optimizing technology ecosystems to improve seller productivity and efficiency
