Sacramento, CA (Hybrid: 4 days Remote; 1 day/week in Office; may increase) Job Type:

Monday–Friday, ~ 8 AM–5 PM Compensation:
~ +/- $36.06–$48.08/hr (~ $75K–$100k+/year DOE) Benefits

Architectural Drafter

Job Captain
role with a nationally recognized architecture and design firm. You'll support project teams in delivering high-quality documentation for
Single Family Residential communities
and gain direct exposure to project coordination and client interaction. This hybrid opportunity is based in Sacramento, with a supportive environment designed to help you transition into greater responsibility and ownership of your work.
What You'll Do:
Assist in leading the architectural drafting process from schematic design through construction documents Work closely with Project Managers to meet deadlines and design goals Develop high-quality construction documents in
AutoCAD
and
Revit Review and proof your own work and the work of others Support coordination with consultants, contractors, and internal teams Respond to construction-related inquiries and help resolve project challenges Research materials, code requirements, and design solutions as needed Grow into managing portions of projects and delegating drafting tasks
What We're Looking For:
Associate degree in Drafting & Design (or equivalent experience) At least 3 years of experience in architectural design/drafting Strong working knowledge of
AutoCAD
and
Revit Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Proven ability to produce accurate, detailed construction documents Single Family Residential project experience is strongly preferred Interest in expanding responsibilities into team leadership and coordination Must be
local to the Sacramento area
(due to hybrid/in-office expectations)
Additional Details:
Full-Time , Long-Term career opportunity (Contract-to-Hire/FTE conversion after ~ 6m | Direct Hire option available also) Hybrid Schedule : Currently 1 day/week in office ( may
increase to ~ 2+ days/week) Office location may shift
from Gold River to Roseville in the future (not confirmed) Business casual environment Some overtime may be required No travel required No sponsorship available No drug screen or background check required
