
Real Estate Paralegal

We are seeking an experienced
Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
with at least
five years of substantive experience
supporting commercial transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and skilled at managing complex documentation and deadlines. This individual will work closely with attorneys, clients, lenders, and other transaction parties to ensure smooth, timely, and accurate completion of real estate matters.
Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and manage
commercial real estate transaction documents , including purchase agreements, leases, amendments, closing documents, title and survey objections, estoppels, and SNDAs.
Coordinate
due diligence
efforts, including reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and other third‑party materials.
Order, track, and analyze
title and survey
documentation; identify issues and work with title companies and surveyors to resolve them.
Assist with
closings , including preparing closing checklists, coordinating signatures, and organizing closing binders.
Conduct research related to
property records , corporate entities, UCC filings, and zoning.
Draft and file
UCC financing statements
and other related documentation.
Manage deadlines, calendars, and transaction timelines to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Communicate professionally with clients, lenders, brokers, and vendors throughout the transaction process.
Organize and maintain electronic and physical
transaction files
and document management systems.
Provide general support to the commercial real estate practice group as needed.
Qualifications Minimum
5 years of experience
as a commercial real estate paralegal (required).
Strong understanding of
commercial real estate transactions , including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing.
Proficiency with
title/survey review , closing processes, and due diligence procedures.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with clients and transaction parties.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems; experience with closing software (e.g., Qualia, i-Manage, NetDocuments) is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Paralegal certificate or degree preferred, but experience can substitute.
