
Private Event Sales Coordinator

About the Role
The Event Sales Coordinator will market, sell and coordinate event spaces across our national network of clubs in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Washington DC. The incumbent will handle customer inquiries and oversee the collective coordination of all event information and resources, and is responsible for account management, sales prospecting and business development.
Responsibilities

Market research and sales prospecting
Public relations and customer relationship management
Event planning and coordination
Logistics oversight and revenue management
Communications with clients, vendors, and meeting planners
Prepare proposals for clients and maintain event records
Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners
Leverage relationships to deliver innovative and memorable events
Seek new market opportunities to increase event sales
Conduct facility tours and provide accurate & timely information
Focus on customer satisfaction to create loyalty and deliver a positive event experience
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in organizing and managing events, including corporate meetings, trainings, luncheons, weddings, and other special occasions
Understanding of market segments, competitor strengths/weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand
Strong understanding of negotiation and contract interpretation
High-energy, creative, with excellent customer service and sales skills
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree and/or Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certification preferred
