Cosign is the fastest growing proptech company in the United States revolutionizing the $4 trillion rental industry with a market-leading one-of-a-kind rent guarantee product. Our mission is to expand housing access for renters and boost occupancy for landlords. Backed by top entrepreneurs, venture capital firms, and real estate investors, Cosign is built by experienced landlords and managers for landlords and managers who deeply understand the rental market’s needs.

Our Mission Continued Cosign is on a mission to expand access to housing by helping landlords approve more qualified renters—without increasing risk. We partner with owners and property managers to close the qualification gap caused by conditional approvals, thin credit files, and the absence of guarantors, materially improving leasing conversion and occupancy. We’re building toward a near future where every U.S. property offers Cosign to renters who struggle to qualify—expanding housing choice while helping owners and operators convert demand into signed leases.

At Cosign, we seek exceptional talent with relentless intellectual curiosity—individuals who:

Challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement

Demand excellence from themselves and their colleagues

Identify and solve problems others don't even recognize

Create innovative solutions others believe impossible

We deliberately seek these rare, high-impact performers who attract similar talent. While most companies avoid hiring these exceptional individuals due to their demanding nature, we actively pursue them. When we find someone extraordinary, we move quickly to bring them onboard.

We believe average talent builds average companies. By assembling a team of exceptional performers, we're creating the talent density needed to transform the rental industry and set new standards of excellence.

This Role Is for a Leasing Pro Who Wants to Get Paid to Talk to Their People We’re one of the fastest-growing PropTech companies in the U.S., backed by top-tier VCs and some of the largest landlords and managers in the country.

We're hiring a Field Leasing Representative to hit the streets across DFW; someone who knows multifamily from the inside out and can walk into a leasing office and immediately earn trust in face‑to‑face situations. You've lived the day‑to‑day: the traffic reports, the follow‑up calls, the move‑in paperwork. Now use that credibility to open doors (literally)!

You’ll be face‑to‑face, boots‑on‑the‑ground every day: visiting apartment communities, connecting with leasing managers and property directors, and booking qualified meetings for our Sales team. While you'll be backed by our Strategy & Operations team, this is a highly independent role where you have autonomy to take charge and achieve results.

This is the perfect role for someone who:

Knows the rhythm of a leasing office and speaks the language fluently

Wants to leverage their leasing experience in a sales‑focused, high‑earning role

Is ready to be part of building something, not just executing inside one

What You’ll Do

Hit the pavement daily; visit apartment complexes, leasing offices, and property management firms across DFW

Identify and engage key decision‑makers: leasing managers, property managers, directors of leasing, and regional operators

Book qualified meetings for our Sales Director through on‑site visits, phone follow‑ups, and text/DM outreach

Tailor your pitch based on property type, size, and audience — you know who to ask for and what resonates because you've been in that seat

Track all outreach and pipeline activity with discipline (every visit, conversation, and follow‑up)

Collaborate with our Strat & Ops and Sales teams to sharpen the field motion and improve the playbook

Feed on‑the‑ground market intel back to the team — your insider perspective shapes how we grow in DFW

Create dashboards, scripts, workflows — you help write the outbound playbook

1–4+ years working as a leasing consultant, leasing professional, or lease‑up specialist at a multifamily community (or as a traveling leaser)

You’re currently located in or willing to relocate to Dallas‑Fort Worth

You have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (mileage will be reimbursed)

You understand how leasing offices operate: the tools, the pressures, the incentives, the language

You’re confident, warm, and easy to trust: a natural face‑to‑face communicator that can walk into a leasing office cold and walk out with a follow‑up scheduled

You know how to open a conversation, qualify quickly, and follow up without being forgettable

Bonus: experience with property management software (Yardi, OneSite, etc.); experience with sales; experience within FinTech or with early‑stage startups

Competitive hourly rate + uncapped variable (significantly more than a typical leasing agent salary)

Uncapped performance bonuses tied to meetings booked and market penetration

High earning upside (the more you book, the more you make)

Texting/calling tools for outreach and follow‑up

Slack, Google Meet/Google Voice, and a Strategy & Ops team behind you every step of the way

Any additional routing, listening, or automation tools that optimize performance and scaling

What Success Looks Like

In your first 30 days, you're visiting properties consistently and booking 20+ qualified meetings with leasing and property managers/week

By month 3 you have built a strong presence across the DFW market and have a repeatable field motion rhythm

By month 6, you have helped establish Cosign as a known name across DFW multifamily — and your pipeline shows it

Every property you visit knows who Cosign is and why their leasing team should care
