We are currently seeking applicants for the role of Manager, Sales Planning & Execution. This person will work directly with the Director, Sales Planning & Strategy to improve and impact sales productivity and create and improve processes that impact revenue. The perfect candidate must have experience in sales operations and forecasting with online and brick-and‑mortar retailers. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Forecast Ownership & Accuracy
Own the development and continuous improvement of customer- and item-level sales forecasts (including promotional events, future sales opportunities, seasonal and holiday programs and displays) leveraging historical data, POS trends, seasonality, and distribution insights
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Demand Planning, and Category Insights to incorporate market intelligence, promotional plans, and distribution changes into a unified forecast
Deliver actionable forecast recommendations that guide sales strategy and improve forecast accuracy
Monitor in-season performance and provide timely updates and recommendations to stakeholders
Analyze post‑event performance to refine lift assumptions and improve future forecasting accuracy
Pipeline & Distribution Planning
Lead planning and execution of retailer reset pipelines, including distribution changes, shelf sets, and initial fill assumptions
Ensure alignment between sales forecasts and supply chain capabilities to minimize service risk and inventory disruption
Maintain clear documentation of forecast assumptions and pipeline inputs at the customer-item level
Reporting, Insights & Communication
Develop and maintain forecasting dashboards and reporting that highlight performance, risks, and key drivers
Provide regular visibility into distribution, forecast variance, and business trends across customers and channels
Serve as a central point of contact for sales forecasting insights across Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance
Cross-Functional Leadership & Process Excellence
Lead cross-functional forecast reviews, driving alignment, decision-making, and accountability
Establish and maintain standardized processes, tools, and documentation for forecasting and pipeline management
Continuously improve forecasting methodologies, tools, and governance to support business growth
QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years of experience
directly working in Sales Execution or Sales Planning roles, ideally working with or for an online or brick and mortar retailer
Strong Business Intelligence:
Strong Excel skills and ability to perform a variety of Excel functions as well as analyze data. Proven examples of working in Excel, building models, and using data to influence decisions are required.
Project Management:
Previous experience overseeing projects with multiple, time-dependent tasks and deliver reliably.
Communication Skills:
Proven ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas and goals in a variety of formats (PowerPoint, written, verbal) to represent the brand and team well.
Resourceful:
Being scrappy – i.e., accomplishing objectives with fewer resources. At times, the candidate will need to find new and creative ways to achieve goals.
Intellectual Curiosity : The ideal candidate will not only be able to execute tasks, but also provide creative thought to bring new thinking to the table. The Team Member will need to improve our systems and processes, find new ways of lowering costs, and generate ideas to drive revenue.

SALARY AND BENEFITS Duke Cannon offers a competitive market salary and bonus based on role and professional experience. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000. Our benefits are top‑notch and include health & dental insurance, HSA and 401k programs supported by regular company contributions, a tuition reimbursement program, and monthly parking stipend. We also host monthly Team camaraderie events ranging from community service events to Lunch & Learns covering business, team, and industry topics… there are also plenty of impromptu happy hours if you don’t have to rush home to get the kids ready for hockey practice.
