This position is within Corporate Banking’s universal banking client coverage/origination for Regions Securities LLC and Regions Bank. The Corporate Banker is a revenue-producing client coverage/origination banker operating within a dedicated geographic area. Corporate Bankers target clients include public and private business with revenues between $250 million to $2 billion or greater. The primary responsibility of the Banker is originating leadership roles in loan syndications, capital markets and financial advisory transactions through demonstrated industry expertise. Additionally, the Banker is expected to cross‑sell all of the firm’s products and services through effective partnership with key product, credit and/or corporate and commercial banking geography partners. This role involves developing and presenting pitches to clients, designing and leading appropriate transaction processes, guiding deal teams, developing appropriate analytics (e.g., cash flow models, valuation and comparable analysis), and negotiating and structuring transactions. Incumbents are expected to have the Series 79 & 63 licenses or be able to obtain them within six months of employment.

Primary Responsibilities

Originates new business through new and existing client relationships in the geographic area

Leverages contacts and deal experience to identify opportunities for Regions Securities LLC And Regions Bank

Creates and manages strategic, long‑term relationships with client decision makers (CEO, CFO, Treasurers, Private Equity Group Partners and Principals, etc.)

Participates in client meetings, client planning sessions and monthly product partner meetings

Guides transaction processes from initial engagement through final close, including deal structure, financial modeling, internal approval/compliance processes and documentation

Communicates and interacts with both core and extended client team members from across the firm, as well as with internal partners and product areas

Participates in the recruitment, development and training of junior banking teammates

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

Seven (7) years of corporate and universal banking experience

Extensive banking and capital markets/advisory product knowledge

Prior corporate lending experience preferred

Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills

Network of client contacts

Demonstrated positive management/leadership skills and principles

Proven ability to lead by example and effectively manage a deal team

Experience developing others as a mentor, and idea leader

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point‑of‑market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Incentive Pay Plans This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals. Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
