Job Summary
BMW of North Haven has an immediate opening for a Parts Counter Associate to join our team. The individual in this role will serve as a liaison between customers and parts personnel, stocking parts, and assisting in sales and inventory. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years previous parts counter experience and a passion for customer service.
Compensation & Benefits This is a full-time position with an hourly base rate plus commission. We offer very competitive wages commensurate with parts experience. Pay range $55,000 - $85,000 based on experience. The position offers dental, vision, and health insurance.
Responsibilities
Take customer orders and answer queries over the phone, interact directly with customers, technicians or in person as required
Assist customers in selecting the correct parts/accessories they need
Provide exceptional customer service daily
Inspect all parts for defects and ensure quality
Verify order accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Stock, organize, and rotate all merchandise
Maintain cleanliness of the parts counter
Perform daily tasks assigned by the Parts Manager
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous Parts Counter experience (5 years minimum)
Knowledge of automobile parts and inventory
Excellent customer service skills
Organizational and problem solving skills
Be dependable, reliable and have a positive attitude
Ability to lift and move product items up to 60 pounds
