Associate Director, Patient Engagement & Professional Relations (Head & Neck Cancer and Colorectal Cancer)
Genmab is focused on the creation and development of innovative and differentiated antibody products, with the aim of improving the lives of cancer patients. We are seeking a team-oriented, results-driven professional committed to outstanding collaboration and excellent work to support Genmab's Patient Engagement and Professional Relations Team. The Associate Director, Patient Engagement & Professional Relations (Head & Neck Cancer and Colorectal Cancer) will support Genmab's efforts to bring the patient voice to Genmab colleagues and relevant global internal and external stakeholder groups, with a primary focus on head and neck cancer (HNC) and colorectal cancer (CRC) patient and professional organizations. Primary Responsibilities
Conceptualize, build, and execute
patient engagement and professional relations plans for
HNC and CRC
for Genmab and, when applicable, with alliance partners. Develop and manage relationships
with key external stakeholders, including
patient advocacy organizations, professional societies, coalitions, and community networks
supporting people impacted by
HNC and CRC
(patients, caregivers, and survivors). Identify, develop, and execute innovative opportunities
to bring the
patient and caregiver voice
into Genmab-especially with
medical affairs, marketing, market access, and clinical development
colleagues. Serve as a subject matter partner
for HNC and CRC advocacy landscapes, including patient needs, care pathways, disparities, screening/diagnosis challenges, survivorship issues, and the role of multidisciplinary care. Assist in the management of internal patient advisory council and/or tumor-area advisory forums
(as applicable), including:
Liaising with patient/caregiver members and internal stakeholders Coordinating executive sponsorship Setting agendas and objectives Partnering with
legal and compliance Capturing learnings through follow‑up reports and communications
Coordinate with other team members a cross-functional engagement activities , such as:
Sponsorship and grants process support (as applicable) Internal patient panels and listening sessions "Science Day"/education forums with advocacy and professional groups Strategic meetings and touchpoints with organizations at major congresses (e.g., oncology and tumor-specific meetings)
Enable appropriate, compliant engagement
with HNC and CRC organizations by contributing to internal guidance, playbooks, and best practices. Assist in managing budgets
and forecasting for assigned initiatives; track deliverables and impact. Support development and alignment of patient advocacy policies and procedures , including documentation and internal training support where needed. Assist with other related tasks as assigned
to support team priorities and enterprise objectives. The Team Member We Are Looking For Will Have

in external engagement. Requirements
Advanced degree required
(MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD, or MD). Minimum 8 years of experience , including
at least 3 years of applicable patient engagement/advocacy experience , ideally within oncology. Demonstrated experience working with
patient and professional organizations , and in a corporate environment, including strategic planning, partnership development, and program execution. Strong understanding of
healthcare delivery
and current issues impacting the healthcare industry, including
health policy
and access considerations relevant to oncology. Knowledge of, or ability to rapidly develop expertise in, the
HNC and CRC landscapes , including patient journeys, treatment and supportive care needs, survivorship, and health equity considerations. Fluent
English
(written and spoken) with excellent attention to detail. Superior
communications experience
(written and verbal), including managing multiple internal relationships across partnerships. Strong
presentation and facilitation skills , including leading discussions with external stakeholders and internal cross‑functional teams. Ability to travel up to
30%
of the time, including overnight and occasional weekends. For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows: $167,920.00---$251,880.00 The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
