The Housing Authority of the City of Greer is now accepting résumés for a full-time Property Manager.
This position is a key administrative and supervisory role responsible for managing public housing properties and ensuring effective day‑to‑day operations. The Property Manager oversees all aspects of tenant intake, occupancy, compliance, and property upkeep within the public housing program.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of public housing units
Oversee intake, screening, leasing, and eviction processes
Conduct unit inspections and identify maintenance needs for buildings, units, and grounds
Provide counseling to residents who violate lease provisions
Calculate, assess, and collect rent
Conduct new resident orientations
Complete annual and interim recertifications
Enforce lease provisions and maintain compliance with federal regulations and internal policies
Prepare required reports and documentation
Qualifications
Experience in property management or a related field preferred
Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations and policies
Must pass a background check
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
