The Associate Director of Secondary Education provides consultative leadership and coordination to improve secondary curriculum and instruction within the Pacific Union Conference. The role supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs consistent with the Seventh-day Adventist philosophy of education.
The Associate Director is responsible for coordinating and overseeing accreditation processes for all schools approved by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the Adventist Accrediting Association (AAA). The position also provides training and guidance to schools, administrators, and boards related to curriculum, accreditation, and professional development.
Required Experience
Master’s degree in education or a related field from an accredited college or university (required).
Minimum of 10 years of teaching and administrative experience in Seventh-day
North American Division professional teaching credential required.
Valid documentation of legal authorization to work in the United States.
Valid driver’s license or government‑issued identification.
