Marine Construction Technology Account Executive

Job Summary The Marine Technology Account Executive is responsible for performing all aspects of prospecting for new clients, presenting company products, services, and solutions, negotiating sales contracts, and managing existing accounts to ensure client satisfaction and retention. A key aspect of the role is understanding client needs to propose appropriate solutions and becoming essential part of our customers’ success. This all leads to achieving the company sales goals.

Description This sales position requires technical knowledge of products and industry. Travel can be up to 60%. The successful candidate will be required to live in either Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina or Virginia.

Essential Duties

Dedicated to improving sales results

Quote and negotiate solutions to meet both client and company needs

Prepare, provide, and participate in technical sales demonstrations as needed

Build strong customer relations and satisfaction; proactively work to ensure customer problems are resolved quickly

Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts and meet sales targets

Support sales activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other industry events

Manage and interpret customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs

Assist clients in understanding which products or services best satisfy their needs in terms of functionality, quality, price, and delivery

Collaborate closely with the Measutronics team to deliver the right solution for our clients

Record and maintain client contact data and interaction (CRM usage with Salesforce)

Requirements

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Direct industry experience in construction and machine control technology

Maintains sense of urgency, appropriate impatience

Ability to make strategic decisions

Strong motivational, innovative, and interpersonal skills

Travel can be up to 60%

Join and participate in relevant trade organizations

Must support and abide by Duncan‑Parnell’s values, mission, policies, and practices

Must be able to perform critical physical tasks supporting this position's core functions, including sitting, standing, and walking

Experience

Strong computer skills and use of MS Office products, MS Teams, and Salesforce (CRM)

Polished communication and presentation skills

Experience selling Machine Control systems

Machine Control training experience

Experience in the Marine Construction, Civil Construction, and commercial site development area

Experience in advanced grading, 3D modeling, AutoCAD, Micro station, or Terramodel
