IDESCO, division of Avery Products is looking for a

Sales Representativ`e . In this position you will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's products or services by identifying leads, building customer relationships, presenting ID card solutions that are right for them, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. Key duties include finding new customers through methods like cold calling, managing the sales pipeline using CRM software, meeting sales targets and quotas, and working with marketing, customer service and other teams to ensure customer satisfaction and drive revenue.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Client engagement:

Building and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients and identifying and meeting their needs for ID Card solutions to generate new business and retain existing business. Expediting the resolution of customer problems and complaints and overcoming objections of prospective customers.

Lead generation:

Prospecting new clients through methods like cold calling, email, in-person meetings, leveraging referrals and marketing leads. Scheduling visits and networking to find and secure new customers. Following up on leads and qualifying them. Participating in trade shows and conventions.

Proposal development and negotiation:

Developing clear and effective written proposals/quotations and assisting in creating RFP responses in a timely manner. Presenting products or services, demonstrating value, negotiating prices and contracts, and closing sales.

Sales strategy:

Developing and executing plans to meet or exceed sales quotas and targets. Analyzing the market and determining the value of prospective customers.

Product and market knowledge:

Staying up to date on product and service details, industry trends, and competitor activities. Making frontline assessment of market conditions and advising sales, marketing and leadership of findings.

Record keeping:

Maintain accurate records including sales call reports.

Stakeholder communication:

Coordinating sales efforts with marketing, engineering, finance, logistics and service departments in addition to leadership.

Data and deadline management:

Actively managing the call schedule to cover all tasks in a time-efficient manner. Ensuring all data is accurate and that customer deadlines are met.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

Communication:

Strong oral and written communication skills. Articulating product benefits clearly, presenting effectively, and active listening are crucial. Being able to neatly and clearly document sales calls and activities.

Persuasion and negotiation:

The ability to persuade customers and successfully negotiate and close deals.

Relationship building:

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Understanding and addressing customer needs and concerns through active listening, empathy and patience

Product knowledge:

A deep and current understanding of the company’s products and services. Familiarity with the market landscape and competitive activities.

Prospecting and lead qualification:

Identifying and qualifying potential customers. Ability to network professionally, comfortably and effectively to drive leads.

Data analysis:

The ability to analyze sales and market data for insights and actions.

Problem-Solving:

Identifying customer problems and offering effective solutions.

Time management:

Prioritizing tasks and managing multiple leads efficiently.Project management and meeting deadlines are critical.

Results Orientation:

Being driven and goal-oriented is key. Must be results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team environment.

Years of Experience Required:

2+ years of experience in sales

Travel Required:

25% of time to be onsite with customers or prospects or at trade shows and other events.

Natural relationship-builder with empathy and patience

Excellent problem-solving skills

Resourceful and knowledgeable – able to find information and knowledgeable about products, services and policies

Solid negotiator with a clear outcome orientation

Strong storyteller with excellent presentation skills

Drives for insights via data analysis

High attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines

Strong computer skills – especially Microsoft Office Suite
