Apartment Property Manager

Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Apartment Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential property. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of property management and tenant relations. As an Apartment Property Manager, you will ensure high occupancy rates, maintain the property’s physical condition, and provide excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the apartment property, ensuring efficient and effective management.

Manage the leasing process, including showing apartments, qualifying prospective tenants, and executing lease agreements.

Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations and procedures.

Coordinate maintenance and repairs to maintain the property in excellent condition.

Respond to tenant inquiries and resolve issues to ensure tenant satisfaction.

Prepare and manage the property budget, including monitoring expenses and financial reporting.

Foster a positive community atmosphere and organize tenant events or initiatives.

Maintain accurate records, including tenant files, lease agreements, and property reports.

Qualifications

Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.

Strong understanding of residential property management principles and practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. MRI, YARDI

Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.

Detail-oriented and highly organized.
