As our Property Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of residential and commercial properties, managing up to 200 units across single-family homes, duplexes, and multifamily apartments. You will handle everything from tenant relations and leasing to property maintenance, vendor management, and financial performance. This is a hands‑on, leadership-driven role where attention to detail, accountability, and customer service excellence are key.
Success in this role will be measured by maintaining occupancy above 95 percent, keeping delinquency rates below 3 percent, meeting company standards for maintenance response times, staying within approved operating budgets, and achieving high levels of resident satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily property operations, including tenant communications, leasing activities, and service requests
Collect rent, enforce lease agreements, and manage renewals and notices
Ensure properties are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with codes and regulations
Coordinate maintenance work and manage vendor relationships, including service agreements and repairs
Conduct regular property and site inspections to maintain operational and brand standards
Manage property budgets, prepare financial reports, and track performance against targets
Support marketing and leasing efforts to attract and retain tenants
Resolve tenant issues professionally and maintain strong tenant satisfaction
Qualifications
Proven experience as a property manager or in a related real estate management role
Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and property management best practices
Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and meet financial targets
Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required
High school diploma or equivalent required, a college degree is preferred
Compensation And Benefits
This is a full-time position.
Competitive salary at $50,000 - $60,000 annually, based on experience.
