Industrial Designer - Culinary Innovation
A leading kitchen‑focused design organization is seeking an Industrial Designer to help create the next generation of intuitive, beautiful, and innovative culinary products. This hands‑on role is ideal for designers who love to sketch, prototype, iterate, and collaborate.
Responsibilities
Explore food, design, and lifestyle trends to identify new product opportunities.
Develop concepts through sketches, boards, and early 3D models.
Create refined CAD models and renderings (SolidWorks/Creo, KeyShot).
Prototype using 3D printing and model‑making to test and refine ideas.
Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and culinary teams to bring products to launch.
Contribute to a modern, approachable visual design language.
Participate in brainstorms and design sprints to drive innovation.
Qualifications
2-5 years of industrial design experience
Strong sketching, Illustrator, and Photoshop skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo; KeyShot and 3D printing experience
Strong sense of form, materials, color, and proportion
Curious, collaborative, and comfortable iterating quickly
Experience in consumer goods or kitchen products is a plus
On‑site Monday-Friday in Stamford, CT
