Eva Garland Consulting (EGC) is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and highly motivated
Communications and Marketing Intern
to join our Business Development team. This position is ideal for a current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in
Business, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field
who is looking to gain meaningful, hands‑on experience in a collaborative and innovative work environment.
As a Communications and Marketing Intern, you will support the development and implementation of marketing and communication initiatives across the organization. You will report to the Communications and Marketing Associate and have the opportunity to learn from and contribute to a range of internal and external projects that support EGC’s mission.
Please note: This is not a remote position.
Specific Job Duties
Assist in drafting newsletters, social media posts, and marketing materials
Support the execution of communications and marketing strategies
Help ensure brand consistency across platforms and materials
Create and edit visual content using tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, or WordPress
Contribute to website updates and email campaign development
Track performance metrics from digital campaigns
Participate in planning and promotion for events and employee engagement initiatives
Organize marketing assets and maintain contact lists
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align marketing efforts with business goals
Contribute creative ideas to help improve communications and outreach
Core Competencies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in marketing, communications, or branding
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast‑paced environment
Positive attitude and strong collaboration skills
Minimum Qualification
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field
Availability to work
on-site
at EGC’s Raleigh office (North Hills)
Must be able to commit to
15-30 hours per week
between the business hours of
8:30AM‑5PM
