Job Summary/Description KLTV is looking for an experienced newscast producer for its Emmy Award winning morning newscast. Good Morning East Texas is a high-octane, 2.5-hour newscast that operates with four producers, an editor, and five on-air staff members.
Duties/Responsibilities
Writing
Co-Producing hour-long newscasts on weekday mornings
Position works an overnight shift
Editing video for newscasts
Posting stories online
Computer Skills
Producer works in the control room booth during live newscasts, monitoring time, live shots, etc.
Occasionally required to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as necessary.
Qualifications/Requirements
Journalism degree or similar (preferred)
1-2 years of experience is a plus for this position
