Type: Full-time (or strong fractional with growth to full-time)

ROLE SUMMARY We are seeking a Marketing, Branding & Media Manager or Director to steward and scale a multi‑platform movement focused on restoring dignity, healing lives, and reshaping culture. This role is for a builder and storyteller who can translate mission into compelling visual narratives, lead video‑first marketing, and execute across social media, film promotion, and brand growth.
This role will oversee marketing and media across three integrated platforms:
Cultural exposure through AGA’s film platform (currently https://sexploitedfilm.com)
Recovery and life‑formation programs (currently https://joyfullifeprograms.org)
Celebration of restored dignity through fashion and lifestyle (AGA's website)
This is not a traditional nonprofit marketing role. It requires creative leadership, production capability, and the strategic clarity characteristic of a start‑up company marketing leader.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand & Narrative Leadership
Own and unify the brand voice, story, and visual identity across all initiatives
Ensure consistency across websites, social platforms, video, and campaigns
Video & Media Production (Critical)
Lead creation of short‑form and long‑form video content, including:
Documentary clips
Social video (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, YouTube)
Testimonies, educational explainers, and campaign videos
Manage editing, post‑production, and basic motion graphics (in house or via contractors)
Direct shoots, interviews, and on‑location filming as needed
Repurpose long‑form footage into high‑performing social assets
This role must be comfortable creating and overseeing video—not just outsourcing it
Own platform strategy across:
Instagram
YouTube
Facebook
TikTok (as appropriate)
X / LinkedIn (selectively)
Pinterest (possibly)
Create a leverage assets across multiple platforms
Develop content calendars tied to campaigns and releases
Grow audiences organically through storytelling, not trends alone
Analyze performance and adapt content based on engagement and reach
Campaign & Launch Marketing
Support film launches, program rollouts, and brand drops
Coordinate messaging across paid, earned, and organic channels
Work with external partners (media, ad agencies, PR, influencers)
Ensure campaigns drive awareness, engagement, and action, not just impressions
Work closely with founder, programs, development, and external creatives
Manage contractors (editors, designers, videographers) as needed
Build scalable systems for content creation and distribution
Bring order, rhythm, and excellence to creative execution
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Must‑Haves
2 to 7+ years in marketing, branding, media, or content leadership
Strong video production and editing capability
Deep fluency with social media platforms and video‑first growth
Proven ability to translate complex or sensitive topics into compelling content
Strong aesthetic judgment and storytelling instinct
Excellent written and visual communication skills
Strongly Preferred
Experience in documentary, film, or mission‑driven media
Familiarity with trauma‑informed or dignity‑centered storytelling
Experience growing brands or movements from early to scaling stages
