About This Role Crusoe is looking for a Strategic Category Manager responsible for building, owning, and executing a sourcing strategy for Marketing. You will manage the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle from strategy and market analysis to contract negotiation and supplier performance management. As a key business partner to corporate leaders, you will deliver value, mitigate risk, and ensure the right supplier relationships to support Crusoe’s growth. In addition, you will manage Sourcing Specialists and build out your team.

What You’ll Be Working On

Build, own, and execute sourcing strategies for corporate services categories, including Marketing

Manage the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle from market analysis and strategy development through contract negotiation and supplier performance management

Serve as a key business partner to corporate leaders, delivering value, mitigating risk, and ensuring the right supplier relationships to support Crusoe’s growth

Lead and manage Sourcing Specialists and build out the corporate procurement team

Conduct spend analysis, develop category strategies with measurable cost savings, and drive continuous improvement across corporate procurement

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field

7+ years in category management or procurement with an indirect/corporate services focus

Proven track record of developing category strategies with measurable cost savings

Strong contract negotiation and supplier relationship management (SRM) skills

Excellent spend analysis and problem‑solving abilities with exceptional stakeholder partnership skills and the ability to influence at all levels

Hands‑on experience with P2P systems (e.g., Coupa, Zip, SAP Ariba)

Bonus Points

Experience in a high‑growth technology or startup environment

Deep expertise in professional services, facilities, or enterprise technology categories

MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPSM)

Compensation Compensation will be paid in the range of $130,000 - $157,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
