WHERE YOU'LL WORK The priority location for this role is Atlanta, GA, but the location of this position can be flexible for an Octagon office location with priority given to qualified candidates who will work East Coast working hours and open to hybrid work (3 days a week in the office) in one of our office locations - Stamford, CT, New York, NY, Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA, or Miami, FL. Remote candidates will also be considered. Requires full‑time travel and onsite availability from June through July, including willingness to work weekends and holidays during this period.

THE WORK YOU'LL DO Octagon is looking for a dynamic and driven Ticket Coordinator to join our team in delivering world‑class experience at the FIFA World Cup 2026™. The Ticket Coordinator will play a vital operational role in managing ticket allocations, seating assignments, and guest fulfilment.
The ticketing team is responsible for the planning, management, assignment, distribution and reconciliation of the client event tickets for this Global sporting event coming to North America, and the Ticket Coordinator will be a key to the success of the ticketing workstream.
This role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a fast‑paced, high‑profile global event environment. The successful candidate will ensure all ticketing processes are executed accurately and efficiently, contributing to a seamless and premium guest experience.
Accurately assign seating allocations based on product type, inventory category, and guest groupings
Manage and maintain ticketing data within official FIFA ticketing systems and internal databases
Coordinate digital ticket distribution in line with tournament timelines and compliance policies
Ensure ticket allocations align with THD sponsorship entitlements and hospitality packages
Conduct detailed data quality checks to maintain 100% accuracy
Support guest list reconciliation and reporting for internal and client stakeholders
Assist with match‑by‑match inventory tracking and allocation management
Liaise with internal Octagon teams, FIFA ticketing contacts, and THD stakeholders as required
Provide on‑site ticketing support during tournament delivery, if required
Escalate urgent issues (lost tickets, access conflicts, allocation discrepancies) appropriately

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Minimum 2 years' experience in event ticketing, sponsorship fulfilment, or hospitality operations
Experience working with ticketing databases and seating manifests
Ability to interpret stadium seating charts and hospitality zoning
Strong Excel proficiency and data management capability
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesExperience working on large-scale international sporting events
Previous experience supporting a corporate sponsor program
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to or more than eight hours at a time
Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. A considerable amount of domestic event travel will be required throughout the FIFA World Cup 2026™ time period, including nights and weekends. Anticipated travel level: High (40-60%)
This position pays an annualized rate of $52,000 and is overtime‑eligible. Contract positions with Octagon are not benefits‑eligible.
