
Business Development Representative

Go Painting of Northern Virginia is a growing painting company serving Loudoun County, Fairfax County, greater Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Eastern West Virginia. We do great work, we treat people right, and we're looking for someone to help us grow.
This is a hunter role; you'll own prospecting and closing while our experienced team handles estimating and project management. That means you stay in your lane (the fun one) and we handle the rest.
Fair warning: we take our work seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. If you value honesty, relationships, and a good laugh as much as a good commission check, you'll fit right in.
What you'll do
Actively prospect new clients. This isn't an order-taking role, it's a go-get-it one
Build genuine relationships with property managers, HOA boards, general contractors, and real estate professionals
Target multi-family and HOA communities across Loudoun, Fairfax, and beyond
Present and close proposals. Our team handles estimating and project delivery so you can stay focused
Represent Go Painting the right way: honestly, professionally, and with a little personality
What we're looking for
A proven closer who knows how to open doors and build trust; not just make calls
Existing relationships in multi-family housing, HOA management, or commercial real estate are a big plus
Someone who's honest, hardworking, and actually cares about doing right by clients
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently from a home office
Paint or construction industry experience is a bonus, but good people who can sell are hard to find, and we'd rather have that
A sense of humor doesn't hurt either
Commission-only; generous and negotiable.
We're not going to lowball you. If you bring in the business, we'll make sure it's worth your while. Earning potential is uncapped and the structure is built to reward real performance.
