Job Requirements
The Designer I supports engineering and project teams through the preparation of technical drawings, layouts, and documentation for building automation, HVAC, electrical, or related systems. This role assists in translating engineering concepts into detailed plans using computer-aided design (CAD) tools while gaining exposure to system standards, project workflows, and internal design practices.
Work Experience
Associate’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related technical field, preferred.
Two (2) years of technical drafting or design experience, required.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD), required.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, preferred.
Basic understanding of building automation systems (BAS), HVAC, electrical, or related systems, preferred.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications, required.
Exposure to control system design or construction documentation processes, preferred.
