
Regional Sales Manager - Mid-Atlantic

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager — Mid-Atlantic Region
Manages all sales and distribution activities, including distributor prospecting, appointments, and development within an assigned territory to achieve optimum market performance and market share for the Fisher Brand.
Responsibilities
Responsible for all territory activities in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Attend national and regional industry trade shows as well as distributor shows and open houses.
Develop, discuss and implement sales and marketing plans and objectives with distributors to maximize distributor growth and market share.
Conduct present and potential market surveys for new and/or supplemental distribution.
Maintain a competitor database for assigned market area.
Responsible for distributor sales training, including regional and individual sales schools, including the ability to present one-on-one as well as large distributor groups.
Accurately and concisely report distributor activity, product concerns and other field intelligence in a timely manner through the provided CRM software.
Participate as required with continuous improvement teams related to products, systems and procedures.
Assist in gathering competitive intelligence, programming, and pricing.
Understand and confidently use the vehicle selection list and all electronic tools provided.
Meet all product and distribution goals and continually look for opportunities to grow the business.
Responsible for effective management of time and expenses related to territory travel.
Extensive travel is required, particularly during the Spring and Fall seasons. Occasional evening and weekend commitments will be required. 70%-80% travel is anticipated.
Promote the company wide effort to make Douglas Dynamics, Inc. the leader in all markets served.
Build relationships with snow & ice contractors and municipalities through our Customer Connect program.
The ideal candidate would reside in Eastern PA, NJ, or MD. This position will cover the Mid-Atlantic region.

Requirements Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing or equivalent.
Licenses/Certificates:
Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive a company demo truck with snow & ice removal equipment throughout assigned territory.
Technology/Equipment:
Must have basic knowledge of truck equipment, lawn and garden and powersports industries including truck-related terms, applications, competitive information, etc. Must have working knowledge of Windows-based programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
