Develop an Editorial Workflow and Template for Spotlight Series * Be the first to apply to this opportunity
We are looking for a volunteer to create a reusable editorial template and a lightweight workflow for sourcing stories, conducting interviews, and publishing monthly spotlights. We'd like the volunteer to draft the first spotlight piece and provide simple recommendations and documentation so staff can follow the process. Specifics will be provided.
This series will amplify Black filmmakers, creatives, and cultural leaders in Houston, educating and inspiring our community through curated storytelling. Volunteers will help increase visibility for local artists and support our mission to create art and events that help communities feel, deal, and heal.
Details will be provided during volunteer interviews. We will work collaboratively with the volunteer to refine the format, review drafts, and agree on a feasible cadence. The volunteer will transfer the process into simple documentation for future use.
Through training, education, and developmental support we create art and curate events that inspire our communities to feel, deal, and HEAL!
