Role Description Nomura is seeking an experienced Senior Operations professional to join our Identity and Access Management team, specializing in Saviynt platform operations. This role requires 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Saviynt implementation, administration, and optimization to support enterprise‑level identity governance initiatives.

The role sits within the Identity and Access Management team and plays a key part in safeguarding the firm’s trading, operational, and client‑facing platforms. This is a hybrid position based in Mumbai, with two mandatory office days each week.

You will be expected to provide BAU support as part of the rota (including weekends), and spend the remaining time delivering projects, enhancements, and handovers received from the Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Saviynt Identity Governance platform across multiple environments

Configure and optimize Saviynt modules including Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, and Application Governance

Manage user lifecycle processes, access certifications, and compliance reporting within Saviynt

Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate with Saviynt support for complex technical problems

Lead day‑to‑day operations of identity and access management processes

Monitor system performance, generate operational reports, and ensure SLA compliance

Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation

Coordinate with cross‑functional teams for system integrations and process improvements

Implement and support Saviynt connectors for various applications and systems

Configure workflows, approval processes, and automated provisioning rules

Manage data imports, exports, and system integrations using Saviynt APIs

Support compliance audits and regulatory requirements through platform configuration

Having insight of end‑to‑end application onboarding processes

Knowledge of various configure and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, Database, File‑based)

Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize data flows

Create, configure, and execute Saviynt analytics and reports

Develop custom dashboards for stakeholders

Analyze access patterns and identify anomalies

Configure campaign parameters and workflows

Assist business users with campaign execution

Generate campaign reports and metrics

Create and maintain SAV (Saviynt) roles and enterprise roles

Perform role mining and optimization activities

Support role lifecycle management processes

Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance

Collaborate with security, compliance, and IT teams on identity governance initiatives

Participate in project planning and implementation of new IAM capabilities

Serve as subject matter expert for Saviynt‑related questions and initiatives

Skills, Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge Required

Saviynt certification(s) L100 & L200

5+ years of hands‑on experience with Saviynt platform administration and configuration

Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts and best practices

Experience with Saviynt modules: EIC (Enterprise Identity Cloud), PAM, and Application Governance

Proficiency in creating and managing Saviynt connectors and integrations

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, database connectivity, and file‑based integrations

Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Shell Scripting)

Understanding of SRE Concepts & knowledge on Monitoring Dashboards like Grafana

Good understanding of Database structure & SQL

Knowledge of ITIL processes including:

Incident Management

Problem Management

Change Management

Service Request Management

Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA).
