Job title : Compliance Analyst
Job location : New York, NY 11355 -Hybrid
Shift :
9:00 am - 5:00 pm Pay : $28-$32 /hr Contract : 2 Months, Possible Extension
Education : High school diploma. College degree preferred. 1–3 years of administrative support experience in compliance and/or health plan operations. Experience working in a regulated industry (healthcare, insurance, government). Familiarity with medical terminology or claim billing concepts is a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks, track deadlines, and maintain organized documentation. Experience working with confidential or sensitive information is preferred. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Skills : Proficient skills in Microsoft products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Vizio, and SharePoint. Knowledge of managed care regulations and health insurance laws Excellent oral, written skills, and organization skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Work mail merge functions for large-volume correspondence.
Duties : • Provide administrative support including scheduling, document preparation, and communication follow-ups • Assist with data collection from internal departments and external stakeholders • Support audit preparation and maintain organized documentation • Process mail merges for Service Verification mailings • Coordinate mailing activities, prepare/send request letters, and distribute mail • Maintain and update compliance trackers with accurate information • Track investigatory activities, monitor case timelines, and send reminders • Assist with preparing data for committee presentations • Input and maintain Medicare compliance activities records • Support compliance work plan activities, including outbound calls and document compilation • Monitor exclusion screening dashboard and manage user access • Perform other assigned administrative duties
