Education - Bachelors degree highly preferred & 5+ YOE
Understands current designs and trends in sportswear and streetwear.
Highly proficient in all aspects of graphic and product design including drawing/sketching, illustration, typography, print and pattern development, color theory and technical applications.
Expert level of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and 3D rendering.
Open to all experiences as long as they are exceptional at what they do.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for a talented and versatile Product Graphic Designer III to support the North America Apparel team in creating seasonal apparel collections from concept to completion.
The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver who excels in a fast-paced environment, has a strong understanding of emerging design and fashion trends and will be a positive force within the team.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON If this is you, you will be working alongside the NAEL Design team to create graphic-led apparel collections across Men’s, Women’s and Kids product on a season-to-season basis. This will include the creative development of all design content including original graphics, application, color, print, pattern and trims. The Product Graphic Designer II will work closely with Product Management teams to build engaging, trend-driven narratives that meet the needs of our target consumers, as well as partner regularly with the Design Assist and Development teams to communicate design intent, help with schematic creation and review and workshop prototypes. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for managing and designing presentation materials and presenting concepts to teams and leadership.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH This is an individual contributor opportunity reporting directly to the NA Apparel Design Director and involves working directly with the NA Apparel Design team and the NA Product Management and Development teams. The role will also require partnerships with the Global Apparel and Central Graphics and Print teams.
WHAT YOU BRING
Education
5+ years of relevant design experience in graphic design, apparel or a closely-related industry involving product creation – or a Masters degree and 2+ years of meaningful design experience.
Experience
Comprehensive knowledge of current and emerging design and fashion trends in sportswear and streetwear.
Skills/Requirements
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timlines at once.
Ability to translate consumer insights into thoughtful narratives and graphic storytelling.
Strong visual and verbal presentation skills; able to effectively show and communicate design intent to internal and external audiences.
Highly proficient in all aspects of graphic and product design including drawing/sketching, illustration, typography, print and pattern development, color theory and technical applications.
Foundational understanding of apparel construction, schematic development and tech pack creation.
Mastery of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; 3D rendering a plus.
