Sr Producer , Creative Content (Photo & Video) NYC Shopbop is seeking a dynamic, hands‑on Producer to join our NYC Creative Content team and bring best‑in‑class fashion storytelling to life. This role is instrumental in shaping and executing daily content that resonates with our customer — balancing speed, creativity, and precision across platforms in a nimble, often social‑first environment. The Producer partners closely with Creative leadership and cross‑functional teams to concept, plan, and execute daily content across photo, video, and social channels, while deeply passionate about social‑first storytelling and understanding how to scale ideas across both high‑touch productions and lean, fast‑turn shoots.

Key Job Responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end production for photo, video, and cross‑channel content, including creative planning, logistics, talent procurement, and budget management.

Collaborate closely with Creative Direction, Styling, Marketing, and Digital teams to translate business objectives into actionable production plans.

Manage internal and external resources, including producers, coordinators, photographers, casting directors, agencies, and vendors.

Drive operational efficiency through workflow optimization, process improvements, and standardization of production best practices.

Forecast and manage multi‑million‑dollar production budgets, negotiating vendor rates and optimizing spend without compromising quality.

Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing environment.

Represent the brand externally, maintaining strong relationships with industry partners and staying current on fashion, photography, and content trends.

Anticipate challenges, solve complex problems in real‑time, and ensure smooth delivery across multiple projects and channels.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

8+ years of experience in photo/video production, ideally within fashion, e‑commerce, or retail.

Proven leadership managing large‑scale, complex productions with internal teams and external partners.

Strong project management skills with experience setting budgets and allocating resources effectively.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Demonstrated ability to optimize workflows, streamline processes, and increase team efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

Deep industry knowledge with established relationships with photographers, modeling agencies, and production vendors.

Experience delivering high‑volume content for websites, marketing campaigns, or advertising agencies.

Ability to innovate under resource constraints, balancing creative excellence with budgetary discipline.

Expertise in rights management, financial reporting, and production accounting systems.

Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management tools.

Customer‑obsessed with a passion for creative experimentation and digital storytelling.

Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.

Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.
