The Opportunity RBI is expanding its digital team to elevate guest experiences across mobile, web, and in-restaurant platforms. As a
Product Designer , you’ll work on digital customer experiences including:
Mobile App
Self-Ordering Kiosks
Website
You’ll collaborate closely with product and technical leadership to deliver high-quality digital experiences that meet both user and business goals.
Work Environment This is a full-time, in-office role in Toronto (5 days/week).
Key Responsibilities
Lead design development across mobile, kiosk, and web platforms
Manage and vet design intake from product briefs
Translate concepts into IA, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI
Facilitate design critiques and working sessions
Collaborate with designers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders
Ensure adherence to design systems (tokens, components, layout standards)
Identify research needs and partner with insights teams
Conduct usability tests and synthesize findings
Iterate based on feedback, technical constraints, and timelines
Qualifications
4+ years of product design experience (enterprise, startup, agency, in-house, or equivalent)
Strong foundation in digital design principles
Experience applying user-centered design best practices
Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills
High attention to detail and craft
Accessibility standards knowledge and application
Experience working within and contributing to design systems
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Comfortable working iteratively (MVP-driven releases)
Thrives in fast-paced environments
Tools & Experience Design & Prototyping
Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
Prototyping tools (InVision, Origami, ProtoPie, Framer)
Research
UserZoom, UserTesting, dscout
Front-End Awareness
Familiarity with HTML/CSS (React is a plus)
AI & Emerging Tools
Experience using generative AI to assist in prototyping and design exploration
AI-supported usability evaluation and early-stage concept testing
Compensation
Base Salary:
$110,000 – $140,000 CAD
(Varies based on experience, education, and skills.)
Additional Compensation:
Annual discretionary bonus
Potential equity grants under long-term incentive plan
