We move fast, care hard, and fight for independent restaurant operators to do what they love, and love doing it. If you’re looking to make an impact with heart and hustle, SpotOn is the place for you.

We believe great, enduring design makes complex systems feel simple. We eliminate what’s unnecessary, adapt to user context, and deliver information thoughtfully. Flexibility, reliability, and value are paramount to all that we do.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who is as fluent in AI‑assisted workflows as they are in pixels and prototypes – someone who sees the expanding AI toolkit not as a shortcut, but as a force multiplier for craft, speed, and impact.

At SpotOn, our designers are already shipping functional prototypes and influencing roadmap decisions using tools like Figma Make, Claude, and Vercel – in direct partnership with their engineering and product triads. We believe the best designers today are redefining what a design process looks like, and we’re building a team that leads that charge.

This role is for a seasoned designer who brings a high standard of craft, drives execution of complex features across platforms, and actively experiments with what AI makes possible. You’ll advocate for user needs while balancing technical and business constraints – and you’ll help shape how design works at SpotOn for years to come.

Key Responsibilities

Leverage AI‑assisted workflows as a core part of your design process – from rapid ideation and prototyping to design exploration and iteration – using tools such as Figma Make, Claude, and Vercel alongside your engineering partners.

Balance high‑fidelity Figma screens and design system standards with the ability to generate functional prototypes that bring ideas to life quickly and inform roadmap decisions with product and engineering peers.

Stay at the forefront of what AI tools make possible in design, bringing new approaches, workflows, and experiments to the team and helping raise the bar for what we ship and how fast we ship it.

Work closely with fellow product designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to execute design solutions across platforms.

Design user flows, wireframes, accessible high‑fidelity UI, and prototypes for web and mobile interfaces that address user needs and align with strategic goals.

Apply systems thinking to ensure design consistency and scalability across multiple products and features.

Leverage user research and data‑driven insights to inform design decisions and continuously refine solutions.

Proactively identify design opportunities, surface user pain points, and propose scalable solutions.Facilitate cross‑functional workshops, design critiques, and collaborative sessions to align and push the work forward.Effectively communicate with stakeholders, clearly presenting design rationale and articulating how designs drive measurable business impact.Provide and apply feedback in order to iterate on design work, improving clarity, usability, and polish.Apply and maintain SpotOn’s design system to achieve consistency across products.Plan and execute user research efforts, synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations.Mentor junior and mid‑level designers through feedback, pairing, and sharing best practices.
