Lothian DAF is looking to appoint a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team while managing and developing your own customer portfolio.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in vehicle sales within the commercial vehicle sector, along with excellent leadership capabilities. You will play a key role in supporting the team to achieve ambitious sales and financial targets.
Responsibilities
Oversee departmental performance, including profit and loss, and manage day-to-day operations.
Lead, motivate and develop the sales team to consistently surpass targets.
Drive business growth by expanding your own accounts and those of your team.
Manage key accounts and build long-term customer relationships.
Ensure full compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures.
What we are looking for
Proven experience in a similar sales management role.
Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.
Good knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry (experience with DAF is advantageous).
Exceptional leadership abilities.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
