Position Summary:
This role is responsible to provide direction, training, and support to retail associates in implementing e-commerce business plans to drive category performance and achieve customer satisfaction, sales growth, and maintain department standards. Monitor and assess e-commerce performance and develop processes to increase productivity.
Here's what you'll do:
Responsible for assigned retail stores to meet and deliver established e-commerce sales and profitability through merchandising plans and e-commerce processes.
Provide dedicated oversight of online merchandising, order fulfillment processes, and operational standards while also serving as the operational and IT process owner for in-store e-commerce fulfillment.
Act as a subject matter expert for e-commerce technology, testing, and issue resolution. This role bridges store operations and IT to ensure system stability, by rapidly troubleshooting disruptions and coaching store teams to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal departments and external customers (i.e. vendors, merchants, etc.) to implement and support the Company's e-commerce initiative; identify and recommend process improvements to appropriate business partners to grow online sales and improve e-commerce presence.
Responsible for providing coaching, training, direction and support to e-commerce retail department associates.
Ensure team follows processes to streamline collection of order, products, checkouts, and delivery.
Instruct and align associates' functions and duties to meet the productivity standards.
Assist in resolving listing problems related to product content, price, deals, image and, description etc.
Monitor and measure order performance, order fulfillment, sales, and profitability of e-commerce products vs. budgeted goals and objective; identify opportunities for improvement and growth to ensure performance is at or above budget levels.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best e-commerce practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Here's what you'll need:
Associate degree (required) in Business Management or other related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Three years job experience in merchandising or management in a retail setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills; ability to prioritize requests and department activities.
Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
In-depth understanding of E-Commerce and marketing fundamentals, content creation, integration, campaign development, marketing promotion and retail financial analysis.
Must be analytical and process-oriented with the strong to lead and train associates to provide high quality customer service.
Strong proficiency in MS office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.).
Ability to travel up to 75% to retail locations to include local and overnight travel.
