The Sales & Demand Planning Analyst supports the sales organization by compiling, analyzing, and synthesizing data and information on customer performance to deliver recommendations relating to sales execution, operational excellence, and customer specific sales initiatives. As a strategic partner, this role supports Sales, Service and Demand Planning teams in providing the analysis and recommendations needed to support the National Account Team on achieving and exceeding targets. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Enter all forecast and buy plans for their assigned accounts
This includes analyzing customer projections vs. POS/History/Sales Targets Working with Supply Chain team on any forecast constraints and adjusting accordingly Working with BU's on aligning customer forecasts to budget guidance.
Identify and pursue areas to increase sales, market share, and generate new business through a consultative sales approach Analyze and plan assortment to support category proposal and business development plan Develop new business opportunities by creating strategic sales / promotional ideas Analyzing POS results and trends to drive at once sales Partner with the sales and account teams to develop regional and promotional opportunities based on market share data, trends, and the market's competitive landscape Build and maintain great working relationships with the Account teams and all functional areas within Wilson What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree A minimum of (3) years' experience in a sales environment is required Previous experience with research/analysis, buying/replenishment, marketing, or customer service in a consumer products organization Ecommerce experience a plus. Other qualifications include: Proven ability to identify and generate recommendations through strategic and actionable analysis Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management Ability to effectively communicate and present to all levels of the organization as well as external customers, vendors, and business partners Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, strong knowledge of Excel is essential Knowledge of SPS Analytics preferred Up to 20% travel (domestic and/or international) may be required What We'll Provide SALARY:
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $60,000 - $85,000 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
