**Role Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Property & Casualty (P&C) Business Analyst with deep expertise in insurance platforms-specifically Duck Creek-to support end-to-end transformation initiatives. This role will lead requirements governance, functional solution alignment, and stakeholder collaboration across business and technology teams. The Business Analyst will drive requirements from conception to implementation and ensure delivery of high‑quality business analysis outputs across the project lifecycle.
**Key Responsibilities**
· Lead business analysis activities for P&C insurance platforms with emphasis on Duck Creek Policy.
· Drive the end‑to‑end requirements lifecycle: discovery, documentation, validation, and traceability.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, solution architects, and technical teams.
· Support Commercial Lines product implementations.
· Conduct workshops, interviews, and gap analyses to capture detailed business requirements.
· Develop functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and configuration documentation.
· Ensure functional design integrity during development, testing, and production rollout.
· Support rating, forms, user admin, batch processes, and Day 2 transaction activities.
· Map business processes using tools such as Visio or LucidChart.
· Serve as SME for P&C transformation initiatives.
**Required Qualifications**
**Manager Level:**
· Minimum 15 years of IT experience.
· 8+ years of Business Analysis experience in Property & Casualty insurance.
· Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Policy.
· Strong understanding of P&C rating, forms, policy workflows, user administration, batch jobs, and Day 2 transactions.
· Experience with Commercial Lines product implementations.
· Proficiency with process mapping tools (Visio, LucidChart, etc.).
**Preferred Skills**
· Experience working with large P&C carriers.
· Understanding of the end‑to‑end policy administration lifecycle.
· Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions.
· Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
· Experience with onshore/offshore delivery models.

**Salary and Other Compensation:**
· The annual salary for this position is between 120-155K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
· This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
